The Jackfish SEC is a spectroelectrochemical cell that enables studies of the electrified metal–solution interface as well as in other applications. It is designed for use with the VeeMAX III variable angle ATR accessory and performs the ATR surface-enhanced infrared spectroscopy (ATR-SEIRAS) technique. It is compatible with organic solvents and acidic/basic media and the cell has a volume of 20 mL. There are dedicated ports for gas bubblers, counter and reference electrodes and an exhaust gas trap.
